My Old Stickfingers cedh deck runs skirge with necrotic ooze and asmodeus to just draw your entire deck and cast a lethal exsanguinate or torment of hailfire turn 1 or two. Anyways just had to defend the skirge bois honor lmao. love your videos

skirge familiar plays far better than it looks, with the right cards or paired with other cards and necrotic ooze it just wins the game on the spot. i dont think i ever cast a skirge familiar and didnt win on the same turn

20:05 Gaea's Balance can't tutor for Wastes. Wastes is a basic land and so can be tutored for with a card like Rampant Growth that search for lands with the Basic supertype. However, Wastes is not a basic land type. The type line for it just says 'Basic Land'. The five basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain and Forest. Gaia's Balance can tutor for up to five lands to cover those five types, which can include non-basic lands that have the basic land types such as Tropical Island, Steam Vents etc. Gaea's Balance is really a color fixer and deck thinning rather than ramp. The original point of it was to enable Domain in Invasion block, but it would maybe be useful in Landfall now. However, it does give a small amount of ramping as although it requires saccing 5 lands, it only costs 4 and the lands it tutors come in untapped, so you can float one mana from the 5th land, tutor for 5 more lands and then tap those for a net result of 6 mana that turn.

You cycle nimble obstructionist when you play removal targeting the demonic snake to counter its ability to exile spells. That's probably the easiest way to deal with it, or a morph creature could remove it with a destroy or exile target creature type effect.

No, you cannot exile any thing with the Pride... In any other zone that isn't the battlefield there aren't any permants, only permanent cards.

Regarding Ogre Ceth at 5:54 I think it's meant to avoid effects that make you play with the top card of your library revealed. Normally you would have to reveal the cards you draw, but with this effect you would draw them without revealing them. Otherwise, it's just a normal scry 2, draw 2.

from how im reading i think "Gale's Crafts" would leave play and "go on the stack" as a copy of the spell or ability. much like if you play a spell that creates a copy of a premiant the spell doesnt stay in play coping things
